Hi Maitham,

please restore the database first. It is the file attached to the training materials.

Best regards, Christiane

Hi Christiane,

I have restored the database Architect_1, but within the tree in the explorer tab the only available group is Main Group, there is no United Motors Group Folder as suggested by the tutorial database.

Regards,

Maitham

Hey Maitham,

which tasks to you try to do? Normally the United Motors Group is a own Database and should be part of the materials.

Cheers

The below manual asks to click on architect_1 and expand the group and find the United Motors Group. However If i expand architect_1 all this is visible is the Main group. Which in the tutorial in the second exercise it asks you to rename to 2.Processes. The tutorials do not make any sense, either that or the architect 1 file has been wrongly constructed. Ive attached images:

There is a separate United Groups database, but as i understand this is not what the tutorial is referencing. It's referencing a group within the Architect_1 database.

Hi Maitham,

we will check this and come back to you. If you want to exercise the creation of a new model you can also do it in the UMG database. It´s the same way.

Thanks, Christiane

Hello Maitham,

It's just a slight problem with the wording. The United Groups database is a different database and yes it is located outside Architect_1 database. This is required for ad hoc analysis of the database. Some exercises require you to change the database to understand things like restoring and creating a structure.

I'm sorry but that is still incorrect, it does not align with any of the next exercises.
