Modelling in Processlive allows the user to re-use the existing objects (if the object name is same). If the user modifies the name of the object, then it gets updated automatically in all occurrences. Also the reflects in the process manual reports in Processlive. However the same does NOT work while importing an ARIS Express model into Processlive. This results in duplication of objects, even though the object names are same, which can be seen in the process manual reports. I would have thought the Processlive will consolidate the objects in order to avoid duplication when importing a Aris Express model.
Has anyone faced this problem? Any solution/workaround available?
Thanks

Hi Moorthy,
I have also faced the same issue while importing ARIS Express maps to Process Live. After importing, find the duplicate objects first, then rename any one duplicate objects, then use the reference of the renamed object through out the process.Later on once you change the name of the object which you renamed, automatically all the other objects (with same reference) will be changed.
For e.g. You have used Invoice as a document in your process 10 times, it appearing 10 times in the manual reports. Rename Invoice to Invoice 1, use the reference for the remaining 9 Invoice documents in the process map.Now all the documents are named as: Invoice 1.Just renamed it to its original name as: Invoice, automatically all the objects names will get changed.
Thanks,
David
