I have an ADB file that I need to open
How can I do this? I read somewhere on the forum that Aris Advance is needed. But I can't figure it out either.

How can I open the ADB file and get all the models that are stored in it ?

Well, do you know the password for the user account system of your ARIS 7.1 database?
If not, restoring that database in ARIS 10.0 will keep failing.

It could also be that your 7.1 database is versionable. I think I remember that in such a case, you need to convert first into a prior ARIS version, such as 7.2.

Are you a customer of Software AG? Then you could ask Global Support ARIS to help you with that conversion.

Usually when tries to import the adb file and shows this kind of error message, it means the adb file is corrupted.
Please try to get a new adb backup file to import again.

In this post, I described my problem. At the moment, we have uploaded a new database, but the error remains the same. Tell me, maybe the problem is in the versions of the database and our ARIS? The database version is 7.1.0.501900, and the version of our ARIS is 10.0.0.1553497.
Perhaps it is possible to somehow update our database to the current version?

Databases from 7x should be migrated to 98x first before to go for 10x.
If you're a customer, open an incident with Global Support via Empower Portal ( empower.softwareag.com ) asking an help to migrate this database.
