hello,

Can we use the ARIS Designer without installing server? can any one give me idea about what all i need to use ARIS designer.

Hi Nilesh,

To ARIS Designer you must the ARIS Server, but if you have the ARIS Architect you can install to use a Local Server and doesn't need an external server.

if i want to install "ARIS designer server"/ "ARIS Connect Server:" on my local machine, how should i do that?

from where i can download it?

Hi Nilesh,

You can only download ARIS express from open source but not "ARIS Designer Server" or "ARIS Connect Server". Please get in touch with the Software AG sales team for more details.

If you already bought the product then goto the "setups" folder that are available in the DVD folder. You can see the .exe files.

I have ARIS designer license, now i want to use it on my own machine, how can i use that?

For using ARIS Designer it#s mandatory to connect to either ARIS Design Server or ARIS Connect Server.

On the ARIS DVD there's a ARIS Client Installation Guide and a Quick Start Guide ARIS Designer.

Dear Nilesh,

You can use the setup files in DVD package and proceed with It, however derby suffices for limited user load

It does well for R&D activities and replicating real world projects
