Hi all,
I have a question about object type named "Function".
I want to create an object type like "Function" that it has an attribute type name "type operation" with attribute name "type operation".
The following some examples:
Manual activity must have the attribute type operation as "operation manual"
Automatic activity must have the attribute type operation as "automatic operation"
When I use the object type "Operazione Manuale", it must have an attribute type "Tipo Operazione" with attribute name "Operazione manuale" no editable
Can someone please help me?
Dante
Hello Dante,
I understand you want to achieve something similar to the BPMN 2.0 Task types. Did you draw different symbols in your image above?
If so, I would recommend, that you use just one symbol for "Function" and configure your attribute type "Tipo Operazione" with little icons for the different types of operations and place them in the centre bottom of the symbol, just like in your image above. Then "Tipo Operazione" is not read-only, but it is always in sync with the symbol representation. You can prescribe the representation of this attribute as a symbol in the model using a template for the function symbol and apply the template to all your models.
