Dear all,

just about to try out some new features - any pointers welcome.

We have ARIS 10, and a lot of Application System Types (ASTs) that represent logical systems.

We also have ARIS UML Designer licences.

I now wish to create sequence diagrams, where each vertical line should be the ASTs. How do I best do that? (It is not immediately apparent to the eye...)

Found it. Mapping tables available inside the UML Designer.

Also, found a nice workaround for simpler usages:

in an Application Collaboration Diagram, you can use the relation Transmits Data To multiple types between the same objects. Just use different Connection Roles. WHile this gives an ok visual representation, the semantics of the diagram becoms visual only - not retained on a data-semantic level. Good enough for many purposes.
