I just went through my pictures I took during the past 3 days and I want to share some more impressions with you. ProcessWorld has been again a big event. I think there were more than 600 participants. Of course, in past years we had even more participants, but this year there are 3 events around the world and so the participants spread out between them. Fewer participants per event also means easier access for participants to experts in the exhibition booths. Still, I have seen long queues at some of the booths.
There were many partners presenting in the exhibition area. One item the exhibition probably gained most interest: a car factory made of LEGO. Manufacturing in the car factory actually works. For example, cars get transported by robots between the different assembly stations.
Below is a photo of Prof. Scheer waiting for his presentation. On his left side, you can see Dr. Jost and Mr. Gerard.
I already mentioned it before, but the hotel itself is very stylish and I really like it. Here another shot of the reception.
As usual during such events, the food was good and you really happen to get to taste stuff you probably won't prepare on your own (ok, I know how to open a bottle, but I think you know what I mean).
We like to thank all participants and hope to see you around next year or even on the next occasion of ProcessWorld in about 2 weeks in Washington.
Dear Sebastian,
I would like to thank you personally for sharing these posts with us via the ARIS Community Website.
Even though I did not have the opportunity to attend the conference, really I felt as if I was there.
I followed with much interest all your posts about the conference.
You people at IDS Scheer AG will always suprise me :):).
You always have brilliant ideas when it comes to share information with members of the Community.
Thank you and Congratulations to the whole Team and to you personally for your dedication and hard work :):)
Two Thumbs up.
Cheers
Shameem
To all IDS people.
Congratulations on the organisation. Once again, everything went smooth, no problems at all and very interesting presentations.
For those who were less fortunate than me and couldn't attend: should you get the opportunity next year, do not hesitate to visit this event.
Regards,
Yves
