As Director of IDS Scheer Consulting, Software AGs brand for industry-specific consulting solutions, I am often at customers who are completely new to our products and solutions. It’s obvious that I have to explain complex contexts, bring the benefits to the point and build a basis for the implementation of company-specific requirements.

Since a few weeks I am receiving excellent support by Mr. Best Process. He knows everything about optimizing, implementing, automating and analyzing processes using Industry.PerformanceREADY.

Industry.PerformanceREADY is the first process-driven end-to-end industry solution based on ARIS and SAP. The solution combines industry-specific best practice processes with preconfigured SAP software and can also be used for Business Process Optimization projects.

But why do I explain that in words?!...Mr. Best Process is able to do that with pictures, examples and charm….

Visit our Industry.PerformanceREADY web page. You can find the cartoon on the right.

Enjoy watching and don’t hesitate to get in touch for further questions!

Marc - I am trying to find someone, anyone in IDS-Scheer that can help me find CPG / Beverage blueprints for SAP that are already in Aris.  Do they exist?  Does the SAP Solution Composer Content exist in Aris as a reference model ( specifically for beverage?)

Many advanced thanks for a response!

Hi Jay,

I don't think that the Solution Composer content is available for ARIS, and then maybe someone from Software AG could say it better than me. What I do know is that you can make SAP reference models available into ARIS via SAP Solution Manager.

I don't remember if there is a reference model specifically for beverage into SAP Solution Manager, but what I think you could do is to check this information with SAP or directly into SolMan if you already know how to access the list of reference models inside SolMan.

I have seen it being used in some SAP projects, so I know that there is a very big list of reference models you can activate into SolMan and then synchronize it back into ARIS.

Regards,

Elaine.

Hi Jay,

Firstly, you need to have SAP SolMan installed in you organization because you will need to access SolMan to find the reference models and, after that, synchronize it back to ARIS.

Maybe it is an issue you should discuss with SAP.

Elaine

Hi Jay,

Elaine is right..i am from the oil and gas industry. We are using ARIS via Solution Manager to populate the standard ECC6 processes.

However when it comes to detail Oil and Gas specific processes that is missing/not yet complete by SAP.

The alternate way is by adding the Oil and Gas SAP transaction codes under the process scenario level in Solution Manager and sync it over to ARIS. Than populate the models in ARIS.
