Good day, how does one incorporate new maps into the mashzone solution? for example i would like to use this for kenya and tanzania and report on the provinces / districts here.

That's clearly possible. You may refer to this article which explains how to visualize the Arrondissements of Paris. And there are a couple of maps available to adapt the tutorial to your needs, esp. this one might be a good starting point.
