1. Methodological moment in BPMN 2 model. There no any possibility to assign person type or organizational unit to lane, only to Pool. It would be nice to hear IDS’s logic of this approach. Generally lanes use to represent roles or systems, but now there are only two ways to assign role to Activity:
- To create assignment to Pool with BPMN allocation diagram or;
- To create FAD for Activities in the Lane.
Both approaches are mega unconvenient.
It would be great (I don’t know is there question or proposal):
Variant 1. To allow assignment of Lanes to BPMN allocation diagram
Variant 2. To replace object type for Lane from lane type to person type.
2. And technical question. I’ve downloaded SR06, but it’s Hardlock driver don’t supports Windows 7 as before…?
Hi Alexander,
your first point, better integration of BPMN 2 in overall ARIS modelling method, is a known problem and we are working on it. Still, I can't tell you when we will release an improved method.
About your second point: As far as I know, ARIS is not yet released for Windows 7. But you can check with our hotline if they have a work-around for this problem already.
