It is a practice at my company to add every control instance to a process even if there are 100 of them. These controls are built in the model itself as they decided not to use FADs to capture Risks and controls. Here’s my question: is there a simpler way to capture all the controls using attributes rather than having so many controls on the process model?
You can activate content type modelling. That effectively enables a presentation and maintenance of your FAD content in the attributes panel. You configure the connection and symbol type of your risks as a content type and after that you can add and remove the risks in the attributes panel. The FAD will be maintained transparently in the background for you.
Sometimes, we use instead of FADs Matrix model, which is simpler and faster than FAD and does not irritate you when you select an assignment. So by e.g., at X you could have a process occurrences list, and by Y - risks, controls, process owners etc. it is easier to maintain. The only problem that the Matrix model behaves weirdly )
