I'm happy to introduce....The Fitness Mashup!

Check out different fitness exercises with special instructions. Monitor your trainings progress or analyze foods regarding their nutrition values. Or just look at the calories consumption for different activities, such as running, eating or office work. Click on the picture to get directly to the fitness mashup and Fitup your Life! :)

I’d like to explain how to create a clickable picture like it is done in the fitness mashup. The mashup, the Excel file and the pictures are attached below.

First of all copy different pictures into your resources folder. (you could use the attached pictures if you want to) Now create an Excel file that contains the destination of the pictures.

Create an image and a new data feed. Use your Excel file as data source. Save your feed.

Go back to the composer, click on the image and select "URL/path through data assignment "and "Proportionate scale".

Now we want to make the pictures available. Create a table and assign your data feed to it. Connect the data feed columns “Parts” to the column “Parts” of the table. After that click on “Filter data” to connect your picture to the table.

Now it is already possible to select the body parts. But we want to make them clickable without seeing the table.

Create a text field and click on “specify link”. Afterwards click on “Define selection”. Select the table and type in the name of a body part.

Repeat this for each body part. Move the text fields over the adequate body parts. To make the “illusion” perfect hide the table behind the picture or behind some other operators. Now you have got a clickable picture. This technique may also be helpful for other navigation scenarios.

Hey Marko,

You don't need to unzip the mzp. Just copy it into your mashzone/importexport folder. Afterwards import it to MashZone. (please keep in mind that the import functionality isn't available in the free version and that this mzp only contains the clickable body)

Have fun mashing :)

Cheers,

Martin
