Hello everyone,
Firstly, I just want to say that I'm only a student and that's my first time using Aris, so I'm sorry if my question sound a little stupid.
So, I'm here for asking your help about United Group Motor Aris House.
My question is simple :
In their Aris House, for the Control and function view, you have four parts. For example, in the function view, it's :
- IT System
- Service
- Technologie
- System Function
Are these parts related to the differents phases : Requirement Definition, Design Specification etc...? For example : Technologie = Design Specification ?
Or all these parts have their own phases : Technologie has Requirement Definition, Design Specification phase etc... ?
I'm saying that because for example, in the organization view, it seems we have only requirement definition (at least in my version) ?
Thank you in advance for your answer :)
Also an organisational chart will evolve, so phases apply there, too. However, it might be that such a scenario is not included in the UMG database.
The database is used to illustrate the different capabilities of ARIS. For example, you will find some models ready to simulate or others prepared to be automated.
So in sum, phases can happen on all those different artefacts. Please note, you also got different abstraction levels, so for example a value chain is more abstract than a process, but both belong to the control view of ARIS.
Hi,
take a look at this post explaining the relationship between ARIS method and ARIS Value Engineering.
