Hello,

I m trying to connect with the Aris JAVA client with a user that have the Aris designer lience.

I receive the following message : "User 'X' has no license for using: ARIS Designer or ARIS Architect."

(print in attach in french)

i can connect just fine with the same user in the connect portal, and with the Aris architect licence in both java client and connect portal.

Can anyone help me please.

The user with the difficulties most probably has got a "ARIS Connect Designer" licence. That is different from an "ARIS Designer" or "ARIS Architect" licence, which you need for the Java clients. Your own user probably consumes 1 "ARIS Connect Designer" and 1 "ARIS Architect" licence, so you can use both the web client and the Java client.
