Dear members,
I use ARIS Business Designer and I created a BPMN 2.0 diagram.
Now when I try to validate/export the diagram ARIS shows the validating screen, but fails to continue.
In the exception log I see the following:
com.idsscheer.aris.client.serverproxy.report.AReportProxyException: cannot update report fonts: sun.font.FontManager.getFontPath(boolean) which eventually results in a null pointer exception.
I have re-installed ARIS, updated JAVA to JRE7 Update 9 without any luck.
Any idea ?

HI all,
I managed to solve the issue by re-installing a correct JRE. I had JRE 7 update 9 (32/64 bit) and JRE 6 update 31 (32/64 bit) installed. I have removed them all and re-installed JRE 6 update 37.
I now can validate BPMN in ARIS. However the export still fails. This time I get the message "Error while loading source model(null)).
I dont see any exception logs anymore so I wonder what is going on now.

i'm having the same problem 2 years after in the cloud version ... maybe because i'm using the trial version?
i believe not because i made a test with a very simple diagram (2 tasks) and it worked nicely.
The current model - still in test mode - has lot more objects: 15 tasks, function allocation diagrams for each task, etc.
The point is: this is a poc and if i'm not able to export and important the bpmn into my client's Aris instance i will not be alble to use the tool...
