Hi, I would like advice regarding the display of sub processes at the same time that are triggered from functions from the Process Landscape Level e.g. in the car sale example in the eLearning example.
e.g If a sub process under 'Contact Customer' has an event that triggers a function which is a subprocess under 'Receive Vehicle'. How can I display both subprocesses at the same time in the same window. This would give a good overview for the staff to show how there is a 'continuous' view of what is happening in the business
Regards
Hi Robert
You can’t display them in same window, but in ARIS Business Architect or ARIS Express you can display the high level process and sub-process in separate tabs and switch between them.
If you want to show how a set of sub-process link together to form a complete end-to-end process, then you can assemble the end-to-end process from the sub-processes by using the generate model command. Provided you have correctly used occurrence copies of the start and end events in the preceding and following models, then if you select the models you want to link together, the model generator can the stitch them together into one large model. If your end-to-end model is very large you can stitch together just parts of it to view particular aspects.
