MashZone Data Feed: connection to a XLS source data on a web server

Hello

One of the big strength of ARIS MashZone is the capability to handle several data feeds and combine data for feeding a cockpit. This is wonderful.

However I am having problems to connect a XLS source data on my web server: when I fill the Data Feed source URL field with a syntax like: http:\\mywebserver\mashupdata.xls, I receive an invalid path error message, while the exact same URL can be resolved correctly by my browser.

There is not much I can read on the help. Do I misuse this feature?

MashZone will resolve the URL on the MashZone server. If your web server is behind a firewall, you have to provide the proxy settings to the MashZone server. You can configure the proxy via Administration/Settings.
