Setting method default

We have a limited amount of personnel working in ARIS and we are allowing all of them system user access.

How do I set their filter to default to 'Entire Method' when they log in? Now it always defaults to the 'Demo Database' filter, forcing them to have to change it every time they log in. I've looked in the system user properties, but can't find a way to set the default filter.

Hi Tracy, Go to View > Options > Login (that is the 5th entry) > Filter > Select one filter > click ok Then you can restart ARIS and everything should work correctly. Regards Eva

Have you tried changing the default filter in View > Options ?

ARIS IT Architect 7.0.2 here

Hi Eva,

We are using ARIS 7.2 and some of our users are not able to save their default settings. We have given the users administrator rights to the pc

When we change all the settings, save and close the settings does not change.

The user has been set up correctly in Administration.

Kindly advise

How about for ARIS 9.8? I don't see the option there. (See attachment)

There is an addition problem to the one mentioned above.

If the Admin tries to use ARIS Connect Designer, he can't see certain model types because the filter is defaulted to "Default" and there is no way to update their filter because they get their filter choices (all of them) via being a database admin. The option to chose filters is grayed out.
