I would like to verify a quick point about the external black box concept in BPMN.
We are thinking about putting a role lane inside the blackbox pool and put the name of the external party there instead of at the pool level (like the example below).
Our logic that this would allow us to better manage through a specific external roles library where we can run reports + control the roles created (Which is not possible if everything is created as pool)
Anyone sees key issue with this approach?

An alternative idea: Put a boolean flag on the Participant object indicating it is external. There is the attribute "External pool" available. This way you can single out external pools easily and keep them in a separate library. Such a flag is easy to maintain and to evaluate in reports.
I'm not sure if you really want to maintain a library of external parties as roles.
